Community Hub

The goal of Annette’s House is to offer something for everyone who is experiencing the effects of poverty. Through various support groups, safety net services, and community building events we aim to not only offer services to our guests but to create a space to nourish community.

Annette’s House is home to many of our recurring events and programs. To see our list of public events, click HERE to visit the calendar.

History and Legacy

A faithful donor, Annette Liebing, made a generous bequest in June 2015 that helped CAIN launch an effort to realize its long-held dream of expanded community engagement by purchasing the house next door to its main Northside building. With significant donations from individuals and local foundations, Annette’s House became a reality in 2019.

Accessibility

Annette’s House is accessible with a ramp in the back, and there are 2 single-use bathrooms, one of which is ADA compliant.
