What is the Anti-Poverty Pop-Up Museum?

The Anti-Poverty Pop-Up Museum is one of the Poverty Liberation Collective’s initiatives to bring awareness to three main topics: the realities of poverty in the United States, mutual aid as a tool of empowerment, and joy as an act of resistance.
Through three distinct galleries made up of 14 unique displays, participants read about these three topics and engage in interactive components such as zine-making and crafting a mural of things that provoke joy.

This exhibit exceeded all expectations – it was stunning, beautifully displayed, professionally designed and written conveying so much worthy content and conscious-raising.
