Give Time

Greet and assist guests as they shop in The Market. Spanish speaking volunteers are especially helpful for greeting and assisting our guests. The Market is open from 5 pm – 7 pm on Mondays, and 10 am -1 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Assist with accepting donations, sorting deliveries, and stocking and preparing The Market for guests. The ability to lift heavy items is helpful. The hours for this role are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday mornings, from 9 am -12 pm. We also currently have a need for early morning shifts, Monday and Tuesday from 7 am – 9 am.

CAIN serves a carry out meal from Annette’s House, sponsored and prepared by a different community group each week. Volunteers assist with sorting, packing, and handing out meals to our guests every Monday at 3:30 pm.

Our computer lab is currently open every Monday night coinciding with our Market hours. Guests are able to use one of our 6 work stations to browse online, but volunteers are also available to assist with a variety of tasks from creating an email to applying for benefits.

We are looking for volunteers to open the lab during our Market hours Tuesday and Thursday as well – let us know if you’d like to help us grow!

Are you a part of a workplace, civic group, social club, school or faith group that would like to give back to our community? Donation drives of canned goods, personal care, items, or snack-pack supplies are a great way to contribute to our mission.

This is an ongoing opportunity for a church, business or community group to provide a meal for our guests during Market hours. The meal can be packaged before arrival, or prepared on site. Market hours are Monday evenings from 5 pm – 7 pm, and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 am – 1 pm.

Our Board holds several committees that support our organization’s mission, vision and values. Committees include Internal Affairs, External Affairs, Finance, and HR, all of which typically meet once per month. You do not have to be a Board Member to join a Committee.
